In business since 1960, Azienda Agricola Pozzo is located in the Lake Viverone area, at the foot of the Serra moraine hill. The morainic soil, rich in minerals resulting from the fragmentation of rocks during the glacial era, is particularly suited to the cultivation of vines, as is the microclimate generated by the presence of the lake. The company produces Erbaluce di Caluso docg, also sparkling and passito, Canavese doc Rosso, rosé and grappa made from Erbaluce marc, sold in the internal sales outlet or in local restaurants and wine shops. It also produces fruit, in particular kiwis of the Aiward variety, and has introduced the experimental cultivation of a rare spice, saffron.
