L’Orto d’Asporto was born from my and my wife’s search for healthier and fresher food. We started from a huge lawn behind the house with many good intentions and very little experience based on the home garden, we have obtained excellent results regarding the quality of products but not enough in terms of production to satisfy the demands of friends and relatives. Motivated by the results obtained, we decided to undertake an activity of production and sale of vegetables for a wider customer base. In search of more productive methods, in line with our thinking, we have deepened various methods: organic, permaculture, synergistic agriculture and biodynamic; when we visited the farm Manenti and saw its method there was a real turning point … Thanks Gigi! The road is certainly still long, there are many things we want to do and improve, but this method is definitely the one closest to us … an agriculture without additions that respects the earth and its balance.
