APErò-Apicoltura Alessandro Castello

A small beekeeping business, born from a passion for the craft and respect for the landscape and its natural resources. Alessandro works on a small scale, with great attention to seasonal rhythms and a careful knowledge of the needs of his Ligustica species bees. The beekeeping consists of five or six stations between the Elvo valley and the lower Serra valley in an area that ranges from the flat areas at the foot of the morainic hill to the first mountain range rich in spontaneous vegetation, far from large urban settlements. Since 2005, Alessandro has been producing organic honey and pollen, following the trend of seasonal blooms: acacia in June, chestnut in July, mountain wildflowers between June and July. Over the years he has created a small distribution network between local stores and direct sales on the farm. He also organizes beekeeping courses.
