B&B Il Mandrione

Il Mandrione is an old stone hut of 1700 and is the result of a conservative recovery project, cozy and furnished with care.  It is located in a panoramic position at over a thousand meters above sea level under the panoramic road “Il Tracciolino”, framed by the beautiful mountains of Biella among meadows, woods and pastures. Il Mandrione is the starting point for walks and nature excursions such as the GTA, GTB, theVia della fede between the Marian Sanctuaries of Oropa and Graglia, the nordic walking trails, mountain biking, free flight and ferrate. Possibility of organizing courses in ceramics and pottery wheel, naturopathy and collection of wild herbs. In winter snowshoeing and ski mountaineering trips at night that end with a warm vin brulè close to an eighteenth-century fireplace. There are three comfortable double rooms and you will be served a rich breakfast with typical local products. The bedrooms, all with panoramic views, take their name from the local flora and color that characterize them: broom, narcissus and marigold. Each room is bright and quiet, carefully furnished to welcome you in a relaxing environment.
