Mirthillo – Io Vivo qui Azienda Agricola di Zanzani Michela

Mirthillo – Io Vivo qui – is a small farm in the Elvo Valley, located along the road from Graglia down to Vagliumina, run by Michela.

A few years ago, the farm was renamed ‘Mirthillo, Io Vivo qui’ because the place where the plants live and the people who take care of them with passion and respect is fundamental to obtaining a good end product.

Alongside the blueberry orchard of around 250 plants, for the past three years some 100 plants of Aronia Melanocarpa (black Aronia) have also found their place. This is a cultivation that is still little known in Italy, and which produces small black berries rich in properties and health benefits.

Part of the summer harvest is then processed in certified workshops into jams, compotes and juices.

‘The joy of seeing the plants flourish and rejuvenate every year makes us realise that nothing in nature is taken for granted and makes us realise that we owe the greatest thanks to her,’ says Michela.

They also sell their products both fresh and preserved on the farm.
