Agriturismo Oro di Berta

The Agriturismo Oro di Berta, founded in 2000 by Tristano and Paola, cultivates various varieties of vegetables, including old ones, fruit, chestnuts and nuts. It is located in an ancient and characteristic factory of 1700, carefully restored, which has maintained the warm and welcoming flavor of local tradition. The company cultivates on an area of about 10 hectares chestnuts, walnuts and various types of fruit, vegetables in greenhouses and outdoors, with a part of spontaneous collection according to seasonality. All without the use of pesticides and chemicals, using agronomic techniques such as the associations and rotations on the row. Part of the production is sold fresh to the customer, part is included in the dishes of the farm and part is processed in the farm laboratory. Open on weekends by reservation, on weekdays only groups of minimum 10/12 people, always by reservation. The restaurant part closes from mid-January until the end of February. The bedrooms, open all year round, are equipped with all comforts while maintaining the atmosphere and charm of the past: the exposed wooden beams, antique furniture and wrought iron beds. Here you can taste the typical seasonal dishes of the area, the traditional “merende cenoire”, made with fresh produce from the farm and other carefully selected farms (KM 0), in full compliance with the nutritional needs of our times. The farm is also an educational farm for schools (from kindergarten to high school) and for visitors of all ages, we organize events, cultural, gastronomic and recreational, highlighting the importance of food for our well-being. An ideal place to recharge your batteries and to start wonderful walks in the nature and excursions on foot or by mountain bike.
