Mulin ’dla Sareja

The mill in the hamlet of Cerea di Netro was built in 1886 and still has the original gears of the time. The hydraulic derivation works that bring water from the Ingagna stream to the gora date back to the same years. Rosanna grew up among the beams of the mill, the large stone millstone and the smell of the corn that breaks to become flour. It is in this natural and human environment, where nothing has changed, that Rosanna grinds two old varieties of Piedmontese corn – the “nostrano dell’isola” and the “pignoletto” – using the techniques of the past. Over time, the mill has also become a farmhouse where Rosanna organizes snacks on the farmyard and visits for groups and school groups. The flour of Mulin ‘dla Sareja is a high quality product, sold in organic chains and all over the world thanks to the Internet.
